May ’21 – Lunch with a Local Author, New Virtual Program Launches

During a year when many library patrons were reaching out for interaction, even while continuing to be concerned about “stepping out” into the world, PPL launched a successful answer: a new weekly book and author discussion series held virtually. With Lunch with a Local Author, PPL librarians introduced a different local author each week during May via Zoom, connecting with more than 75 participants over the course of the four-week series who got to “meet” the author of the week and participate in a lunchtime discussion.
