February ’21 – 26th Annual Langston Hughes Community Poetry Reading

PPL proudly joined other community partners for the 26th Annual Langston Hughes Community Poetry Reading, held virtually this year. This annual celebration of the poems of national icon, Langston Hughes, recognizes his birthday and the continued need for community, especially during these challenging times. Readers from as far away as Langston’s birthplace of Missouri read and performed selected poems from Hughes’ extensive collection of work.
