PPL Presents Resilient Communities: Libraries Respond to Climate Change, a Public Program Series

PPL joined 24 other libraries around the country in an ALA grant-funded pilot program supporting libraries in the engagement of their communities in programs and conversations that address the climate crisis, creating a suite of free programming resources about the climate crisis that would be available to all libraries. PPL offered a series of free programs for all ages, including workshops, book club, film screenings & discussions, and children’s programming. Together, the libraries created a suite of free programming resources about the climate crisis that became available to libraries nationwide.
